It was the Country Inn Butter Batter Fruit Cake. Later we mover on to the best version, Supreme I think. Still later it became the Masterpiece. I can't say that Beatrice Bakery supplied all of these but the similarity and goodness would say so. We had a Masterpiece every Christmas until to our disappointment Sears quit selling them. I tried several times over the years to find out who baked them for Sears to no avail. My daughter-in-law surprised us one Christmas with what had to be from the same bakery and continued to provide one every Christmas. For the last couple of years I have ordered through Cabela's. If I am correct I have been enjoying them for well over 60 years, but if even I err at least 30 years, and they are the best.Edhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05017829009898940761noreply@blogger.com
