Bakery Receives Superior Evaluation

Audits are a necessary element in managing and improving food production / manufacturing facilities.  Beatrice Bakery Co. was inspected recently for our yearly AIB (American Institute of Baking) review. This inspection is in addition to required state/federal (FDA) inspections.
Our record of accomplishment for AIB audits is top notch – receiving superior evaluations for 35 plus years. This would not be possible without the excellent sanitation and production employees here at BBC that take pride in producing safe, quality food.

What You May Not Know!

Hello.  My name is Cory and I am considered the new kid on the block at Beatrice Bakery Company.  Most of my career has been in Quality or Research & Development, but this is the first time working for a small, community-based employer where it is not uncommon to have numerous employees hitting 30 year work anniversaries.

I manage a wide range of areas including quality assurance, sanitation, and regulatory compliance. We have been striving for SQF certification, maintaining and improving facility and products to meet standards that are state and federal food processing inspections.  It is important to us to make continual improvements of our process to meet customer expectations.  

We are trying new product formulations periodically to target consumer trends such as reduction of sugar, removal of high fructose corn syrup, gluten-free line, and removal of partially hydrogenated oils. We support all laws governing food production and will strive to meet new regulations.

I would like to thank all our long time customers, and the new customers who have come to enjoy our products.

Bakery Staff Recognition

Hi!  My name is Greg Leech and I am proud to be the President and CEO of Beatrice Bakery Company.  On January 29th I celebrated my 37th year of working at the bakery. 
We take pride in having one of the cleanest bakeries in the USA and also take pride in our high quality products.  In my 37 years we have seen lots of changes in the baking industry, but there have been more changes the last several years than ever before.  We are working diligently to keep up with all the changes.  We are very thankful for all our employees who are like family to us.  Many have been with us a long time and we will share their anniversaries with you as the year goes on.  Today, we celebrate and recognize our production assistant Jennie, who has been with us for 10 years on February 27th
We are growing every year and we thank you for your support!

Out of Stock!!! :(

On Monday, February 22, all production employees will be returning to work after a short shut down for equipment maintenance. This ensures a quality product is being produced during our entire season. Production for the year normally begins in February, started by producing Grandma's Fruit & Nut Cakes that we put into the cooler, to age to perfection, for us to then cut into our popular “1/2 slice SNACK PACK”.   So don't worry, they will be available again in a couple months!
